Hopefully things will get back to normalcy after today.

Luther Smith doesn't like your thread title. Nice work.

uc's next win against a tourney team will be their first.

Things will be back to normal when the Gnome starts throwing players under the bus. "But I had a brilliant defense drawn up - they just wouldn't listen"

Are you saying St. Johns wouldn't win the A-10?

Sorry had to do it.

Nice loss at home to a 7-7 team Cronin. Jackhole.

Wasn't this Nancy's first game back?

The XU and UC season paths are going to cross again, with us on the way back up and them going back down. Glad things are getting back to normal!

It was the 2nd game back for Nancy and the head stomper.

A part of me wants sUCk to roll thru the Big Least as it makes X's victory even better, but I still take pleasure in seeing UC lose at home.

look at it this way. Anyone that loses to uc is just not very good.

They have Cronin signed until 2017.

Good luck with that.

The thing I found interesting about the game was that UC shot 26% and only lost because they defend well enough. There were about 10 or 12 points St. Johns scored in transition based on UC players (usually Kilpatrick) not getting back on D after a missed shot. Just think about that: 26% shooting and lost because they didn't play good enough defense. Befuddling.

I have never heard of a team that shoots 30 more shots than the opposing team and loses the game. Do you know how hard that is?

They have a big game tonight @ Georgetown. They can win some games in the Big East because it is down this year.

If they finish .500 or worse in the Big Least they will not get in the tourney.

I am not sure 10-8 will get them in. I suppose if they get a couple of wins vs the top teams but just beating 10 Big East teams will not be enough IMO.

RPI is still in the 120's or 130's.

Gladden, you need to take a page from UC's athletic website and put the BIG EAST in all caps. They must be the only school at this point that is proud of their alleagiance to the conference while West Virginia has one foot out the door and into the BIG XII-II.

This was a game UC won last year when they needed a road win in the worst way. If I'm not mistaken, Georgetown is coming off a loss this weekend as well.

I will be rooting hard for Georgetown tonight. A loss would drop sUCks to 2-3 in the Big Least and 12-5 overall.

Agreed. The Big East is down this year. Except for Syracuse and maybe Georgetown no one is really that impressive.

They are 2-1 right now but we get the point. I cant see anyway they beat Georgetown @ Gtown. They beat them twice last year and will not fall asleep again this year.

Gtown by 13.

Amost there:

“The reason we lost is that we were not ready to play,” Cronin said. “We played as individuals. We played with no focus, no energy. We had poor preparation, poor leadership, failure by the coaching staff to get the team ready, failure by the players to get themselevs in a mental state ready to play.

I took a moment to watch his video as well.

Unreal. I could not be happier that UC as hitched its wagon to this guy for such a long-term.

He looks like a loser.

He talks like a loser.

He looks like a loser - he really does; it's worth repeating.

He IS a loser.

I hope they fall apart from here on in.
