Lose one of their top 3 players and are beating St. Louis. Archie has brought that Miller toughness to that program.

Maybe St. Louis isn't very good. :p
Or as good as they thought they were.

Also, Dayton is working on an at-large resume.

This is true, I am shocked.
Maybe 2012 is the end of the world.

Dayton goes into Temple and picks up the win. Hopefully, Archie won't stay long in Dayton.

Dayton is not a joke anymore. Amazing what Archie has done up there. He won't be there more than 3 years if that.

Have to say the Flyers' results look very impressive. Looks like Archie is going to take the rivalry up a notch.

Dayton playing well makes the rivalry that much better. And I sure as hell welcome it.
Draws more attention, and makes X look even better after X beats them.
Dayton is good, people. Sit in it. Let it ruminate. Let it waft into your nostrils. It also goes to show you what a POS coach Brian Gregory was.

When they hit their outside shots like they did today, there's not a team in the A-10 they can't beat. When they don't hit, they're very ordinary.
That is a major road scalp for them.

Chris Wright has 10 NBA minutes played, so you might be right.

It Dayton sucked, it would show how bad Gregory left the program and what a POS coach Brian Gregory was. And if Dayton is good, it also goes to show you what a POS coach Brian Gregory was. And if Dayton does the usual, has fits of brilliance and then falls flat down the end stretch, I am sure that will show us what a POS coach Brian Gregory was.
No matter what happens, the evidence is clear to everyone!

It's true that with Sean and cal advising him he is gone the minute a bigger program offers him. Until then miller lite will serve his time in that dying city. My advice to him is to enjoy marions pizza and the oakwood club until then, the only 2 good things in that shithole.

In all honesty, Gregory deserves some credit. Dillard was a great pick up. And he attracted some other solid players.

How did West Virginia lose to Dayton in the 2009 NCAA Tournament? That has to be a more painful loss for Chuggy Bear than any of his losses to Xavier.

Give him credit for recruiting Dillard, but Kid Yuma is leaps and bounds better at this point in terms of developing players so far it would seem.
I feel bad for Georgia Tech and their fans. I think their basketball program was facing probation by the NCAA, but hiring Gregory was a far worse punishment than any postseason ban or loss of scholarships that the NCAA could enforce.

It's funny how people in Shittynati perceive other cities as being "dumps" or not up to par on levels with shittynati. Let's be truthful. Shittynati sucks. It is an old river town. Downtown sucks. Does anyone even spend time on those empty one way streets? Norwood? Seriously? That's a shitty little place too. You people are deceiving yourselves if you think Norwood and Shittynati are something to write home about. The city sucks, and the "campus" sucks worse. Wake up and look around.

He was always a pretty decent recruiter. He just couldn't utilize what he had. He was never good at identifying the strengths and weaknesses of his own team or his opponents. He had depth and athleticism, yet didn't push the pace. He struggled against the zone, yet never tried to establish a transition game and would slow it down and allow the other team to set up the very defense he struggled against. In short, he could recruit well, but he was not a good bench coach.
