She's not playing and that's the rumor around the arena.

This is falling apart.. And quickly

A shame if that's the case, but at least Crouch is now able to play. The depth at guard is a problem — with Holmes out, there are, um, no subs for the backcourt.

Does not look good for coach. Seems like she is loosing control. Needs to have team meeting and get everyone on the same page. It's a rebuilding year but......hope they can regroup. They do have talent. Let's go X!!!

Certainly Liz's priority if it's true, but I think it doesn't reflect well on her. Seems as if these young athletes don't understand that hard work can turn a not so desirable situation around. I'm sure nobody there saw 3-10 coming, but why just walk away? When the goin gets tough, the commitmetless walk. Hopefully Xavier is better for it in the end and Waugh finds a person of stronger character.

I hear that she left not because of thes losses but because she is truely unhappy with the program, and the coaching staff. What is going on? It seems to me that the program is unorganized right now. I hope amy gets this ship back afloat! :(

I'm guessing she was a Kevin McGuff recruit; I can't say that I am surprised that there would be frustration ultimately leading up to a departure.

And it's sad, especially when you have a head coach that has seen the absolute top AND bottom for the program in back-to-back years in 2001 and 2002. Sadly, not everyone has the patience or wherewithal to stay the course. Best of luck to Liz wherever she lands on her feet.

Yeah, the men are having a GREAT season next to what the women are facing.

Shame, how a porgram that looked so great last year can be in utter shambles this year.

Do you realize, no Xavier team, men or women have won at Cintas Center since December 10? It might even be December 4 for the women.

The women get their next chance at a home win (heck, any win period would be nice) on Saturday at 4. The men don't get that chance till the 11th (home win, that is)

A month without a home win, think about that. To be fair both teams had neutral site exempt tournament events, so they didn't have that many chances to even get a home win.

Heard on campus Liz left because she wasn't closer enough to her sister and family. She didn't feel "the fit" here at X. I wish her the best and hope she finds out that no matter where she plays things are never easy and you can't always quit and walk away. She will stay close to home and Indy next time is my guess. As far as Amy, she and her staff have worked very hard and will turn this program around given time. Patience in a rebuilding year is never easy so lets support these girls and coaching staff! Go X!
