For making UC the better team since the XU-UC Brawl incident a few weeks ago. We are beginning to see the electricity of UC's offense lately. Again, thank you.

And some wonder about why the rivalry is so heated.

Great win last night against 0-13 Chicago State.

Keep fooling yourself moron.

I have nothing to hide, no shame, only pride in admitting I'm a Bearcat fan, alum, and employee... but didn't this happen a few years back? Cincy smoked X, after that the two teams went in opposite directions with X improving and UC tumbling. I can't remember when but I believe it was fairly recent. Gotta wonder if the shootout takes its toll on the mind sets of the kids.

In response to BleedXblue.... for what it's worth, X would be playing the likes of Chicago State and Arkansas Pine Bluff if you had a conference schedule full of Pitt, Syracuse, G'town, Villanova, Louisville, West Virginia, Uconn.... nothing against X, but the A-10 doesn't scare too many people. So while UC takes its beatings in conference play, X takes its in non conference play.

You seem like a reasonable guy CSF. Being a bearcat fan around here it wont be easy to stay that way. We can't be responsible for your eventual hurt feelings, and subsequent banning. Sorry.

That's all well and good, but maybe UC fans should tone down the excitement level until they play a team with an RPI under 275. It is very hard to gauge anything against the level of 'competition' that UC is currently playing.

Yeah! Maybe a team like Hawaii with an rpi of 288!!

Mick wants to play a tougher schedule. He emailed ESPN, remember??

What Tu said sounded pretty bad, but saying you emailed ESPN and actually expected them to help you schedule better teams was way dumber. It's just that no one cared about UC, so no one noticed.

Notre Dame plays Indiana, Gonzaga, Mizzou, Georgia and Maryland out of conference. Louisville plays Butler, Vandy, Memphis, Kentucky and Long Beach. Georgetown plays Memphis, Kansas and Alabama. I could go on and on with Big East schools that play a respectable non-conference schedule but I won't.

Ah, the myth of Big Least toughness....again.

Nova has already lost to St. Joes and Temple. Pitt has lost to Wagner and LBSU. Syracuse won't play away from home. Notre Dame, DePuke, Rutgers, St. Johns, Providence, South Florida, West Virginia and, yes, the Borecats abjectly suck.

It is proven every year in the NCAA when a ton of Big Least teams get bids and most disappear the first weekend. when you get 10 teams granted berths, chances are someone will make it to the last weekend.

Yeah, I get it. UCon won last year, but the skewed perception that the league is a continual murders row because they play a bunch of ugly 54-52 games is way off.

I wonder if Mick is under the impression that those programs emailed ESPN regarding their OOC schedule.

Unless ESPN is televising such a game - they did play at NC State and won a couple of weeks ago.

Your missing the point. Those BE have a chance to win those games and come out with a good to OK record. UC has no chance to win any of those games. Thus UC has to play sucky teams (blue hose) that they can beat to have an OK record. The risk for UC is that if they start playing good teams, then everyone will realize that they suck as much as Depaul.

Are you saying DePaul wouldn't win the A-10?
