Punches thrown in ASU-Southern Miss game

Per a couple of twitter feeds I follow. Apparently punches were exchanged and two players got ejected. After the fight the PA broke into the theme from Rocky. How reprehensible. Those teams are so full of thugs. They should be thrown out for the season and the programs should be disbanded.

This is a big difference between what happened in our game and nearly every other fight. It is difficult for most people to understand why the Dez shove led to the sucker punch/ stomp combo.

Like so few have mentioned, UC was absolutely looking for a reason to scrap. I mean, they sprung off the bench in unison when Wells sent Guyn to the floor. They just needed a little push (or shove) and it was on. We should not have even given them that nudge, so we are not blameless.

Man, that sucker punch from the ASU player was pretty ridiculous. A punch to the back of the head that the other player had no reason to expect? He should be suspended for several games.

But come on, he can't be an "animal" or a "thug" ... he's white !!

Meanwhile, there was a brawl at the end of the Beef O Bradys Bowl last night between Marshall and FIU. The game was over then two guys got into it and some other guys got involved. Looked about the same as the SucKS game. The game was over with a 10 point lead for Marshall. No reason for a brawl.

Somehow, I doubt that there will be any mention about it, even though it was on ESPN.
