Kentucky/Indiana Saturday, so one down. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure Murray State will be losing to Memphis on Sunday.

Marquette
Xavier
Louisville

I hate you so much right now. Why in the world would you make this thread going into the Shootout?

Plus, Kansas State lost last night in double OT to Thuggins and crew.

Murray St. has a higher probability of going undefeated this year than Xavier does, according to KenPom.

I think Murray State is pretty much done playing good teams after Sunday. Xavier's still got some meat left on the bone.

Happy birthday, you jerk. I won't make fun of you for a day now. :D

This was still a stupid thread, tempting the fates, going into the shootout. We couldn't do this when we were going up against Oral Roberts?

You sound scared or nervous for some reason. We will win on Saturday -- no matter who tempts what fates.

It is that plain and that simple.

Get some balls, oh bearded one!

Are you saying ORU wouldn't win the A-10?

And happy birthday, BBC 08! (you non-jerk)

Never thought I'd say this but the list is now updated for UK's loss to IU.

Another Calipari team doomed by free throws, surprise, surprise.

With Murray State's win today and looking at their remaining schedule, I'd say they are odds-on favorites to stay undefeated longest at this point.

Louisville and Indiana go down last night. Down to Baylor, Mizzou, Syracuse and Murray State.

Mizzou loses to K-State. 3 left. Murray State is in a pretty close one with Austin Peay at the half.

Syr should stay unbeaten for a while, but end with a tough stretch.

BBC, I think you should add the other end of the spectrum to your list: Binghamton, Towson, Chicago St.

Where do you think Murray's ceiling is in the rankings? I'm thinking somewhere around #12. I don't think they make the top-10 pre-NCAA Tournament even if undefeated. I think they only way they manage to sneak into the top 10 is if they get Wichita State in the Bracket Busters and absolutely blow their doors off. And that's only if Wichita State does a lot of winning between now and then.

Im sure YTG somehow is responsible for Murray States success. He is you know, God's gift to coaching. Just ask him.

UC would be number 1 in the nation if his team just listened to his coaching advice. Each game he tells them not to lose, and without a doubt some player always screws it up and doesn't execute this game plan costing poor ole mick another loss.

If he could change his game times from noon to 7 PM, they would be undefeated. Just ask Mick, it's not his fault that he's lost some noon games.

Mick would be undefeated, if they just could have gotten by Presbyterian somehow.

That and Marshall St. Johns, and some other school, I forget the name of it, but some school took them to the woodshed by 23 points in December. Anybody rememebr who that was?

Yeah, they could have had an undefeated season if not for those 4 meddling schools...

bleedXblue - so that's why the crosstown game was that weird 12:30 start, YTG doesn't like noon starts. That's why UC likes those 2 and 4 pm saturday starts.

I think the only team that may have a right to complain about game timing is that SEC team that had to play two games on the same day for the SEC title a few years back when the storms knocked the Goergia Dome out of comission. Other than that the schedule is the schedule, you play when TV wants you to. This isn't football where they tell you your game time on Monday for your Saturday game, YTG should have known the schedule for awhile and should have built a coaching schedule around it.

Cronin leveled Murray State's program. Set them back years when he left them high and dry with no players. It took Billy Kennedy awhile to turn that thing around because of Cronin. Murray State's current success is quite assuredly despite Cronin's efforts and not because of them.

I've read a few Murray State artices on CBS Sportsline, ESPN and the like lately, and the hate in the comments section is really piling up. In a sense, Murray might be better off at 19-1. Everyone would think they were pretty good, and there would be no reason to hate on them. However, because they're getting a lot of attention for being 20-0, people seem to want to crush Murray and talk about how "unimpressive" being 20-0 is against their schedule. It's so unimpressive that it basically happens every year, right? Right?

I'm really looking forward to Bracket Busters for the first time ever this year.

Clearly this is due to the fact that Louisville, UConn, UC, Kentucky, Indiana, Duke, and countless other major programs wanted a piece of Murray State in a home and home, but Murray State ducked them and opted to play buy games instead.
