A slight downsize from Mangino. Bigger ego, though.

Kansas football is brutal. I give him 2-3 years tops then he'll understand and be gone.

I think it's actually a pretty good situation, though. Turner Gill ran off all the upperclassmen and redshirted almost his entire freshman class the first year. All their good players were freshmen and sophomores this year, and they do have some talent. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them win 6 or 7 games next year and have a legitimately good team a year later.

Dude has ants in his pants. This is his third different coaching job in three years. If his "tactical advantage" didn't work at ND, how's it going to work at perpetual loser KU where football is and always will be second fiddle to bball? Not that I care. Guy seems like a real jerk.

I don't see this one working out either. Fat Charlie should just stick to the NFL.

I'm not all that convinced he's good at anything.

He is a pretty good NFL offensive coordinator. Great in New England, pretty good in Kansas City last year too.

They found some Head Coach sweaters that Mangino had, figured they needed to use them up so they hired an appropriate coach. Options were limited. And Majerus didn't want to change sports.

Now's the time to invest in a Kansas Barbecue joint. Sales expected to skyrocket in 2012.
