Hope you all don't mind a shout-out to the "Hick From French Lick." I grew up in Boston in the 1980s and Bird was the guy that made me fall in love with basketball. You gotta admit - the man could not jump but he was an amazing shooter, passer and fierce competitor.

Anybody else have "old" NBA favorites (Lakers fans need not apply - just kidding!)?
