some fan asked what mid-major would go farthest in the tournament... out of butler, st marys, xavier, and drake, hubert davis said xavier... while this is good pub for x, i hate when people call us a mid-major... i guess it will take a final 4 or farther until we can remove this name

It will take more than that to be considered not a mid major by everyone. Many educated fans don't consider us this but many casual fans do.
Is George Mason a mid-major?

If you aren't in a power conference....to them, you are mid-major.

Well, I think you can play out of it. People don't consider the Zags or Memphis mid majors anymore.
We have to be around the top 25 for probably 5-8 years in a row basically and make noise in the tourney for everyone to consider us NOT a mid-major.

Is anyone else sick of Musberger referring to DJ White as just "DJ". Is he his godfather or something?

Paging Mike Bobinski, this is ESPN on Line 1 - what do you think of Xavier being the likeliest mid-major to make the Final 4?

I think Gonzaga is playing their way back into that status. That conference sucks so hard that they can't afford to lose at all.
