Please do not go to that place for this game. Thank you.

"Historic" Hinkle Fieldhouse. Anything less would be uncivilized.
A great chance to have 60% Xavier fans filling an away game arena. Butler fans nailed about 1/2 occupancy for unvieling of their NCAA runner up banner this year. Apparently they were all late due to their Butler issued pocket watches.

Mulligan's in Hyde Park is closed. It became the Pig and Whistle for a while and now appears to be completely closed.

It's been closed for 4 months now.

Why not drive over to Indy for the game? Hmmm? That is a good idea. Anyone know who to call for tickets?
Let's continue the winning streak!

9:00 start makes Hinkle a little rough.

I took Thursday off rather than drag my ass around at work that day. You know that game will not start at 9:00.

My Butler viewing party is going to be at the Coasterville Sports Bar. Currently serving up Yuengling, Smithwicks, Guinness, Bud Light (I keep it around for those folks that can't take anything else), and I may have some Spotted Cow Ale around.
Coasterville Sports Bar has the unique feature that as soon as the final horn sounds, I can go right to bedroom.
These 9pm worknight tips SUCK.
Just think, in a couple weeks we will be looking at 11pm tips, but at least those are during the holidays. All-Nighters with the Muskies?
Couple of us are heading over to Longnecks in Wilder.
They are always pretty friendly to the XU folks.
Any of y'all in NKY are welcome to stop in.

The Holy Grail at the Banks is a great place. There are a number of people getting together there.

Really? I made the mistake of watching the Xavier - Marquette NCAA tournament game there last year. I think I was the only Xavier fan in the place and it was full of obnoxious UC fans. I made a vow never to go there for another Xavier game.

Hmm, I might have to think about that, I live at the banks. Do they play the volume for the game though? I hate not being able to hear the game. Thats a big reason I mostly just stay at my place for games.

I live Downtown, too, so The Holy Grail appeals to me as a location. Unfortunately (and unsurprisingly given its origins) it has a definite UC flavor. Maybe we can work on changing that.

You must be mistaken. You see, UC doesn't have any fans. Didn't you see that thread?

Yes. Take the Banks over.
May the Streak Be With You.
The food looks good and reasonably priced.
Onion Rings are too expensive, though.
