How Awful is Maryland?

I see that they are underdogs at home against Notre Dame tomorrow. That's pretty bad.

Also, I know my friend PMI would disagree but I do take some comfort that I ended up being correct that Maryland could not afford to pay their basketball coach. Sure Turgeon got his money, but Maryland is so broke, they are ending nine other sports.

On top of that Edsall seems to be a moron. If they don't change the football program, this school will get even worse.

I think Turgeon will be a good coach, and his assistants are very good. But kids in the county where the school resides still end up going to North Carolina, like another one this past week.
