UC vs. UGA

I'm watching the UC vs. UGA game on ESPNU. UGA is up 9 at the half, and it should be more.

UC was up 7-0, then UGA went to a zone.

UC looks totally uninspired and clueless.

Needless to say, I'm enjoying the game so far. ;-)

Mick Cronin emailed ESPN asking for a more inspiring opponent, but they did not comply. It's their fault.

That, and the team is probably jetlagged.

Ah, the real Georgia finally showed up, lead down to 2 points now.

Wow, this one is over. UC is up 5 with 16 seconds to go. Pretty pathetic how UGA pissed this one away, but I guess you have to give UC some credit for battling back on the road. I guess.

For as bad as the UC offense is, when they clamp down and work on D they can keep games close. If they keep it close they'll always have the puncher's chance a la Charlie Coles and Miami. Granted, they haven't had a game yet this season when they didn't lapse on D for a considerable time.

Georgia is really not a good team. They should take this game but gave it away.

In the grand rpi scheme of things, it behooves us to have UC win this one. Comparing schedules, UCs will be stronger than Georgias significantly.
