Charlie Coles sits right behind my section in the wheelchair aisle. I know I can't be the only one who has seen him up there.

It's pretty rare that established teams from D-I will play a D-2 school on the road. Saginaw Valley State has a former Coles assistant running the show up there.

My question is why wouldn't Miami play them up there as an exhibition instead of during the regular season?

Anyone who's been Division I since buffalo roamed the prairies, for starters. I'm not talking about teams like Presbyterian who are new to the party in D-I.
