I'm a little bit shocked that UMass is winning so decisively. This is the type of game where UMass usually makes themselves look bad.

Penn took Temple to overtime, but Temple pulled it out.

UMass wins big. Chaz Williams looks like a player.

Morgan St. is just a bad team. X played terrible against them and still won fairly easy. Bellermine would beat Morgan by 25.

Murray State is generally pretty damned good. Wouldn't lose too much sleep over that result.

They usually are pretty good, but they don't appear to be this year. They lost their coach, and pretty much all thier starters. The one player that is listed as a returning starter didn't even start in ten games last year.

Having said that, it is a nice win for the Racers. I've always had a soft spot for them and Western Kentucky, and like to see them do well.

BTW, if I'm reading their schedule right, Murray will welcome Dayton to Racer Arena in December. That won't end well for the Flyers.

Looks like Austin Peay should have a good team, but they lost to a rather weak Middle Tennessee team the other night. In a few weeks we may be adding this year's Austin Peay team to the long list of teams that I thought would be good, and weren't.

I think Dayton wins easily. I was impressed what I saw out of them last Saturday as it looked like they had really bought into Miller's system. They had something like 25 assists in that game.

They played like #330 outta 345. Bunch of small white dudes without their best player. Benson dunked @ will and it was still almost tied @ the half. Nobody @ WI could walk on @ X.

Tough loss for LaSuck tonight against Villanova. I didn't see any of the game but I don't know how Villanova attempted 30, yes 30 more free throws than LaSalle in a game that was tight throughout. Had to be some nice home cookin' for 'Nova. They couldn't let the Big East suffer another black eye today after West Virginia got worked at home by Kent State in the brunch time special. If anyone saw the game please explain how that FT differential occurred.

Looks like Texas shot 44 to Rhody's 32. Nothing compared to the 41-11 advantage that Nova had.

Texas 44 Ft's and Rhode Island 32 FT's. Yep, that's 76 combined FT's for those keeping score at home. Typical Baron defense, meaning there was none. The game was tied 58-58 with about 11 minutes left in the game. At the 5 minute mark Texas had 90 points. That would be 32 points scored over about 6 minutes.
