Lost tonight to TCU. Debate about them involved in the BCS championship game officially over.

I don't think was much debate absent some amazing upsets down the stretch anyway. I thought a Boise vs. SEC #2 in the Sugar Bowl might have been interesting.

Are you saying Boise State wouldn't win the Big East?

Last year, I thought Boise was legitimately good enough to beat either Oregon or Auburn. I can't say they deserved it after losing to Nevada, but I did think they were good enough to beat either one.
This year, not so much. The door is now open for Houston to play in a BCS Bowl, and it very well could be the Sugar Bowl. I believe the Sugar picks next to last, and given the choice between Houston and the Big East champ, they'll probably take Houston. I really don't think Houston has a real good chance at beating Alabama either.
On a similar note, much is being made of how Alabama is first in line among the one loss teams. They're first in line....FOR NOW. They won't be if Oklahoma wins out. The computers seem to reward big wins more than they punish poor losses. If Oklahoma wins out, they will have beaten the #2 team on the road. That is better than any win Alabama would have. Oklahoma has a smattering of other good wins as well, such as at Kansas State, Texas on a neutral field, and Baylor, who for some reason is still in the rankings. They'll pass Bama in the computers. Compile that with voters not wanting a rematch, Oklahoma is in the drivers seat if they win out.
