UofL played Bellarmine tonight and came away with an 8 point win.

Duke beat Bellarmine 87-62 last week, although it was around a 2 point game at half.

Bellarmine has built one impressive program down there. They are better than a very large percentage of Division I teams.

Thats what I was saying last year after we lost to them. They are a VERY talented group of players, and given the hits we took before the game, it was a surprise, but not a tragic blow to the program. This is a good test to start your season off on and I expect them to give us a pretty good fight.

Bellarmine would kill it in the MAC or the OVC. If they were to move up, it would be their show. I actually wonder if they are going to go Div. I, like NKU

I don't think Bellarmine would kill it in the MAC. They'd do okay in the OVC, though.

Not to take away from what Bellarmine's done, because they are very good, but Louisville was without Peyton Siva and a couple of other players last night.

I wasnt even surprised they beat us last year. We basically had no bench that game and still werent sure who would replace crawfords scoring. They will play us tough for a little bit on saturday, but X should run away with it in the 2nd half like Duke did.

I'm not sure if Bellarmine is considering D2. I dont think they are good enough for the MAC, but OVC or Horizon could work. How are their sports facilities? One thing that should help NKU make the transition to D1 is they have great facilities in the BOK Center and new soccer stadium.

Very similar to St Bonaventure but smaller. Remind me of Xavier 30 years ago. They do play D1 in Lacrosse. Nice soccer and baseball fields.

Small campus and 3k students.
