Even if it's only a share of the preseason title, Dayton deserves congratulations for a paper title this year. Will the bard Swampy Meadows have any comment?

AP preseason has Xavier 36th, Dayton and Temple tied for 37th. I'm all for the team getting votes, but look forward to votes they earn by their play.

If you have an AP vote and don't do anything except use last year's rankings as your guide, you should either not vote or give up that vote.

I was a bit surprised to see it, too, but keep in mind 7th place each of the past two years has meant a WNIT bid, which is what some of us have thought is realistic for this year. Seventh sounds really bad, but out of 14 teams, maybe it isn't terrible. But I think and hope we can do better!

Seems like Dayton and Temple at the top (although Duquesne brings back a lot from last year, too), and then after that, who knows.

In the coaches poll we are 31, ahead of both Dayton and Temple. Quite surprising...

We are 7th in the A-10 according to the coaches but the best according to the national polls...
