I saw the Fathers and Daughters ticket package out there for women's basketball tickets, and I was considering doing this with my 5-year-old daughter.

Has anyone does this before? If so, was it a good experience? I don't know that my daughter would get a ton out of the "chalk talks" with the coaches at this point, but she might like the other events.

I was just curious on the opinions on this package if anyone had done it before.

I bought two for one season tickets last year so I could take my daughter. This year, instead of season tickets (which are full price - no specials), I decided it was MUCH cheaper to get the Junior Musketeer membership and an adult gold card that will get me and the kid into at least 10 women's games, plus all the other cool stuff for her that it comes with.

You might want to go that route instead. Look at Junior Musketeers on the goxavier.com web page.

Our season tickets are near the section for the father-daughter tickets and it is close to full every game designated for them, so it seems participation is good. Give it a try! Go X!

I did it last year. If you can't make it to every game, so what? IT's super cheap. The pizza party alone was worth it. Also got a t-shirt.

I didn't do the Fathers and Daughters thing, but took the suggestion and signed my daughter up to be a Junior Musketeer. She'll like the things that go along with that, and we'll get to some of the Women's games.

Thanks for the suggestions, all.

One more question...

I'm planning on taking my daughter to a game this week. Do I just need to bring her Junior Musketeer membership card with me so she can get the free admission?

Unless things have changed, Junior Musketeer membership cards give you (your daughter) free admission to 1 men's game for the season and all other Xavier sporting events. She should be good to go.

Thanks, X-band! This is the first year I've signed her up for Junior Musketeers and wanted to make sure I brought the right information to the game.
