So, I'm a Falcon fan through and through, and while I don't venture up to Bowling Green, Ohio anymore, the love I have for the community and the Falcons doesn't waiver.

They have been rebuilding their facilities in an effort to build their programs into something of a MAC powerhouse (whatever that means), and that includes their new basketball arena, the "Stroh Center".

This is how they are introducing their new arena. The video is awesome.

You don't need a "cool" video to see how nice the new UT Facilities are.

That was great. I want to know how they got the old white guys to agree to this.

Pretty funny video. I'm sure the undergrads will be excited about this. As for the alumni... well, you said yourself that you never get up there anymore. I wonder how many of them do to that part of the state?

But good on them. I hope it helps to build up the quality of teams they produce.

Now if Akron could just get out of that high school gym of theirs, the MAC would have some decent D1 facilities.

after living in the toledo area for about 6 years i'm happy for BGSU. toledo renovated savage hall. it was a dump the time i saw BJ Raymond play for ST johns. from what i saw they did a hell of a job on the place. for the city of toledo they tore down the old sports arena and built the hunnington center downtown. was up there last december and watched the walleye hockey team play. great but small arena. kansas city is tearing the kemper arena down and building a 5000 seat venue for the american royal. xavier has played at the kemper a few times i believe.

Millet?

lol. the jar in akron is close. millet is a better arena but the jar is better to watch a basketball game from. it does give you a feel of a high school gym. i still remember xavier's triple overtime win there. it was a long drive back home but was worth it.

Raymond AND ATay played there. AWFUL place to watch a game. it was a dump and the seating was as bad at UC's. I haven't been to the new arena, but I know that from the pictures, it looks pretty nice.

I've driven by BG's new place a few times when passing through BG to get gas on the way home. It's a beautiful building outside, and hopefully I'll catch a game there.
