Looking at the rankings, I think URI is pretty undervalued. They will get creamed in nonconference, but at the semester break they get Billy Baron and a transfer from Auburn that should immediately shore up their lineup. I'd say they have a chance to win nine or ten league games.

Billy Baron could barely crack the rotation at UVA. Not sure he's gonna be a big help.

No doubt....

TU = THE TRUTH

However, IMHO

KING KENNY will be 1st Team A-10 @ the end of the season...

I recall reading that he had trouble adjusting at UVa. He was pretty respected out of high school. Going back to URI with a year of seasoning and he could make an impact, especially given the fact that the A-10 looks like a two-bid league this year.

When is the last time an all-conference team had 5 seniors on it?

The league looks pretty bad this year. UD is weak this year and they are picked to finish in the top half of the conference at 6th? St. Bonny is picked to finish 4th?

I agree with the above- this looks like a 2 league bid. And after that we have what look to be a lot of, at best, mediocre and at worst bad teams.

Xavier and Temple are both top 25 teams. There will be one or two teams that will surprise everyone and will have a shot at getting into the tourney depending on how they finish.

His dad is the coach...he'll crack the rotation.

He was a freshman averaging 11 min a game. I don't see the big fuss.

He started out playing quite a bit but basically fell out of the rotation on a bad team. That doesn't scream future difference maker to me.

Do you think Jim Baron ever considered, if only for a second, the possibility of naming one of his kids "Red"?

Thanks, I needed that after a long afternoon. Funny stuff.
