I wonder what the magazine knows that we don't; at this point I'd be thrilled if Xavier could make the 2012 NCAA Tournament with a completely revamped roster.

Maybe they are right. I remember a chat with members of the coaching staff, before the changes came, about how this team would surprise a lot of people this season, perhaps it was more than just hopeful confidence.

I think there's a decent amount of talent on the roster -- it just hasn't played together. I'm hoping for the WNIT, and if this team makes the NCAA's, it will have been a fantastic year.
