Anyone have Apple TV? I'm thinking about getting this to play my iPhone music through my home stereo. Watching videos from my iTunes setup on my PC would also be cool.

I have a PS3 already, so the netflix part is of no value to me. If anyone has Apple TV, let me know your thoughts. Also let me know if you are a Mac or PC house (I'm PC).

I have one and I love it. I have a 1TB server that I stream wirelessly to the Apple TV and it works great.

My only complaint is that I have a lot of TV shows saved as MP4s and there isn't really a good way to organize them (if you find one let me know). Currently they are all sitting in the same list as all of my movies and it tends to get a little crowded.

I've got an Apple TV and it is great when using Airplay from my iPad or iPhone. You'll love that functionality. It is also great for playing your library of music/video stored on your computer. Depending on the strength of your wifi network though, you could see some lag or degredation of the video. The only negative I've found is that, when playing music from your library on your Apple TV, you can't use the itunes "DJ". I was looking forward to this for parties, but it will only let you play playlists, individual songs, or albums. I know there are jailbroken options for the DJ functionality, but I haven't bothered to jailbreak my Apple TV.

Its a good thing that you have the PS3 for Netflix because I've noticed that the video quality of Netflix on Apple TV doesn't match what I get from my Xbox 360. Overall, though, its a great value at $99 if your looking for something that plays nicely with network content as well as any i-devices you have.

BTW, I use windows on my computer.

Lifelong Mac user and Apple fan. Love the AppleTV and have had 3 versions, including the latest. Love playing songs from my iPhone cause that's where all my current playlists are.

I make hubby do all the grunt work but I know he has a way to separate out TV shows. He can also group movies together so, for example, all movies in a series are together. It makes searching easier, particularly if they aren't alphabetical titles. I'm not sure, though, if that's only on the older version where the movies were actually stored on the device. I'll see if I can get info for you.

small sample size, but 3 for 3 on the reviews has me convinced. I think i'll order online, because I'm sure the back to school crowd at the apple store is still insane.
