Thought Xavier was doing the marathon this year. Or is that next year?

I love the beginning of the season, especially all of those early season tournaments. It's the start of basketball season, and you get to see all sorts of teams that you've heard about all through the offseason playing against quality competition.

That said, I'll miss most of the tipoff marathon, which really does suck. I'll get my fill of college hoops like I always do, but when you're starved for it like you are at the beginning of the season, it sucks to have to wait.

That's why it was nice to walk around the Cintas last night, see the new floor, check out the place again during Women's night out with the women's team. I took my daughter again this year and it's just good to be back there and know the season is coming soon...

I thought it was more of a question, I thought Mario asked if X fans would want to be in the marathon or something like that.

There was talk of expanding the Butler series for an additional two years, and potentially including one or both games as part of the tip-off marathon.

When I say "there was talk" I have no idea how official that talk actually was.
