Woot! I love that place, and take pride that I lived across the hall from that certain someone in Brockman. Best part was that his phone number was the same as Dominos pizza near campus. If you forgot to dial off campus, you got his room. It. was. hilarious.

When I was a youngster, looking for a place for friendship, good service, and a cold one, no actually just a place to sneak in and grab a 50 cent "fishbowl" draft and play pong, yea, pong, It was The Rustic on Galbraith Road, border of Finneytown and NCH. No ID?? No problem, it was the 70s.
Then as I grew up, passed the magic age of 18 and then 21 wow I can drink those wonderful tasty concoctions from those magical bottles before only idolized in dads liquor cabinet (ok, I drank from those) I graduated to the Village Inn in the Greenhills shopping center. The glasses were smaller but the beer was still just 50 cents, if you were lucky you got a clean glass. Hell I even worked there, had to use a bartenders guide to make a manhattan!
Ah but alas, I finally settled down in my life, married for the third time and realized yes, I must grow up. Entered Xavier at the ripe old age of 27, with a semester and a half college credit under my belt, yea I amassed an entire semester and a half credit in 9 years, I weaseled my way into Xavier and found the promised land. Dana's it was my destiny and signaled my move from extended adolescence to adulthood. The beers were more expensive, and now all it takes is seeing the neon lights, and schwing!!!!!!
Life has changed, life is good, Dana's is king!
