I zoomed in on this only because I have a nephew on the squad there, and another who played there before him. The Emerson finally has a home court, but it is smaller than the Xavier practice gym.

Interestingly, there are quite a few Emerson grads in the business side of The League, a little network. My nephew just landed a spot with Oakland through his Emerson connections.

I lived in Boston for 8 years and had no idea Emerson had an athletic program. I just thought they were a music school with a unique group of students that made walking to a game at Fenway interesting.

"Piano Row Gymnasium" doesn't exactly strike fear into the hearts and minds of opponents, I'm sure. But the business of arts and entertainment are opening new management programs. I still can't figure how the Emerson grads got a foothold in the NBA, but there it is.
