Someday, a future generation is going to look back and laugh at how the current BCS national championship is decided. Hopefully there are pieces in place to make a legit move toward a playoff.

This is no coincidence. As the Big 6 grow (and possibly consolidate) they are going to need to throw a bone to the antitrust critics (Congress, DOJ, etc...).
