Wonder how far his 350+ drives go in that thin mountain air; seriously Jason should see a few more Nationwide starts this year as some lower echelon guys fade away and top tier guys reduce their schedules several more spots are available.

Jason certainly recognizes the step-up opportunity and his feet should be wet enough to start turning in good performances.

2 eagles and a birdie and still ends up 1 under. Missed opportunity there. Go low tomorrow Jason!

Jay hits the snot out of the ball, but buddy, it's all about the short game. If Jason can begin to consistently get up and down from tough tourney rough after missing greens, he'll start making some nice finishes.

Any reason to show JK as Canadian ? Thought he hailed from Warren OH.

He is from Warren.

Maybe since he breathed air from "Alberta Clippers" as a kid makes him an honorary Canadian.

Congrats to Jason on throwing a 67 on the board today and making the cut. T34 and 8 shots off the lead going to round 3. Love to see him add another couple of rounds in the 60s and maybe sneak into the top 10.

If he somehow manages to win tomorrow (which will still be tough because you know someone who is just geting started today will go low), Kokrak would be in very, very good position to gets his full PGA Tour Card for next year.

Finished. A cool 7 under 64 and, for now tied for the lead.

Helluva job. Keep it going tomorrow Jason.

Today's round was clearly predicated upon some of those prior less than successful days. The learning process is equally important to playing well. Great job staying in the moment and playing each shot as it comes. Hope that flat stick stays hotter than Brad Redford shooting FTs.

This is great news for Jason and indirectly for Xavier golf.

Final round 70 to get Jason a Nationwide Tour top 10 finish. Hopefully he can keep it rolling in Omaha next weekend.

Finished 9th and made $14 grand.

Tough way to make a living unless you're on the big tour.

Omaha has a $725k purse. That's good money no matter which Tour you're on.

They showed some of the replay on the Golf Channel last night and gave my boy and X a nice shout out. He was putting for eagle (left it just short) and they mentioned he's a Xavier grad who is a name to remember. They talked about his elite driving distance and even mentioned that as an Ohioan, he's a former Lebron fan. Kokrak keeps improving and has tremendous upside. I know it's just so freaking hard, but man would I love to see him on the tour someday.
