PGA Kiawah 2012

Next summer the PGA is on Kiawah. I know some of you are big golf fans.
I am in a partnership of a 3 bedroom cottage on the island. Our partnership will probably rent the cottage out for the week. Have no idea at this time what the rate will be, but it will be significantly less than going through the Kiawah Island realty options.

If you have tickets or are planning on going (I"m pretty sure tickets are still available) and are interested, please send me a PM, and I'll provide further details on the place.

Do you guys rent the place out normally, or is this a special occasion?

It is primarily only used by partners. We have 2 weeks in the summer we rent, but only to friends. It is never advertised/rented on the open market.

Is that the PGA Championship? I thought the 2012 US Open was supposed to be at Olympic Club at San Francisco.

Kahn's has played Kiawah and hates it. In fact he hates any links course. He told me he'd rather play Devou over Kiawah anyday. Two weeks after this converation Kahn's and Snipe played Devou on a Saturday. Got backed up and rednecks behind them were raining balls down on them all day. Serves him right.

The Ocean Course's War at the Shore was classic Ryder Cup. Poor Bernhard Langer.
