May have implications as I assume MVC would be interested in SLU or Butler? (not assuming either school has an interest in the MVC).

SLU should go to the Valley. It would be best for all involved (other than those of us for whom SLU is the nearest Xavier A-10 road destination).

But who would replace them in the A-10?

But who would replace them in the A-10?

Why do they need to be replaced?

But who would replace them in the A-10?

We'd just be three more departures short of getting back to an actual A-10.

The deduction of Fordham, Bonnie, and LaSuck

Charlotte is more than likely leaving soon too due to football. We could at least be back to divisions at that point.

There is no way Missouri State is joining Conference USA. None.

It source is a player's twitter account. The player "read it somewhere."

Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, Troy, Western Kentucky and even Temple would be lightyears ahead of Missouri State on C-USA's radar, and that's only if they lose teams to the Big Twelve or Big East, which hasn't happened yet and won't happen prior to the start of next year.

He changed his twitter post after the school started getting calls. His original said something more direct.

I didn't mean to jump down your throat. I hope I didn't come off that way. It was the fact that it garnered any real media attention at all. I mean, it was a player's twitter account. Players, and for that matter coaches, aren't the ones that would know about something like that, much less be involved in the decision. That, and the athletic year ends on June 30. No moves like that for next season would just now be getting started.

Apparently he said something about seeing envelopes with CUSA seals on them that were officially inviting them to join the conference. In five minutes they could determine whether or not that was true.

And, on top of all that, it's MISSOURI STATE, a school that isn't even remotely courting CUSA or vice versa. I'm just amazed at how quickly something as ridiculous as this can be spread as a rumor. That's all. I didn't mean it as a putdown toward you...

Oh I didn't take it that way. I just forgot to mention it in the earlier post.

Butler hopefully.
