Five Indiana players refused to go into the game because of a lack of playing time.

In a case like this, I lean towards the players side.
This is an all star game, the final result means nothing, a win doesn't get you anything but a nice warm feeling for the coach. If the coach is truly "the best coach in Indiana" he would know that this was a time for these kids to shine, not him.

Not that I write real good or nothin, but that writer seemed to struggle to put words together in a sentence. It's like he's trying to be the poor man's Daugherty, but he only achieves a homeless man's version. All the self-indulgent "insight" was there, along with a couple of snide quips, but he just couldn't seem to find the words to flesh out the ideas into a real editorial piece.

That aside, who cares if the players refused to play? It's a worthless all-star game that only exists to further inflate the egos of these kids as if coaches, classmates, parents, recruiters, college boosters and agents don't already do that enough.
