Kristin Knapp Cole, former assistant with Coach McGuff at XU is back in basketball. Named as assistant coach at A-10 foe George Washington.

Congrats and welcome back Coach Cole!

Unfortunately, I don't think that Coach Cole will be employed there for very long. Mike Bozeman is on the hot-seat big time at GW.

He was already on the hot seat before GW hired a new AD; at least Bozeman will get a year to prove himself before the AD possibly goes in a different direction. Karl Hobbs was canned almost immediately after GW made the change at AD.

You can bet that Bozeman is looking over his shoulder and that he'd better produce something this year. A WNIT appearance may buy him another year -- we'll see. Problem is that I don't think he has the players to do so.

As far as Hobbs is concerned, I think there may have been some off-the-court issues that may have led to his immediate firing.
