How sad that their administration sees this, and then supports it. THIS is why I go to Xavier.

NKU and Miami University (Homo Central) lumped in with UC. I love this article.
Thanks.

I read somewhere else that the survey is still going on, and is reaching the likes of Cleveland State and the dump. Perhaps we are the only school in Ohio who cares about what you are getting after you graduate?

It should be especially important on days like today, since today is, oh, commencement.

Let's also remember that UC has a graduating class of about 10,000 or so - Miami and NKU will both have a slightly smaller number. All 3 are also public universities.

Xavier is much smaller - it's far easier to conduct a survey of about 1,000-1,500 graduates. I don't remember filling out a survey like that myself 6 months after graduation. And this was BEFORE the Great Recession.

Miami at least tried to compile such date, but they've gotten a 10% response rate from what the article and TV report mentions. As for Xavier, are their placement rates indicative of all students or just the students who responded to the survey?

Let's not act as if all Xavier grads are making $50-$60K after shaking Fr. Graham's hand at graduation and are making even more money down the road. UC, Miami and NKU grads still make pretty good scratch themselves once they get an established career.

You mean, once they get their own personal Donato's route (for UC grads at least)?
