It would seem that Dayton has the appropriate uniforms for its program per that article - close but not great. That sort of sums up the entire program's history - close but not great.

I like how the writer calls out the black unis as awful. Unless black is one of your primary colors, it looks like a desperate attempt to be fashionable (for the record, I also said this about Xavier's black Reebok unis in the early 2000's). I disagree with his stance on the grey unis, though. I personally like O$U's and Kansas St.

No hate for Indiana's unis? While I love their striped throw back warm-ups, their actual game uniforms are weak. If they're going to go retro-70's style, they should at least go back to the terrycloth.

How bad were the Runnin Ute's jerseys? That screams bush league. Anyone else always think of that scene from My Cousin Vinny every time you hear Utah's nickname? "Two wh-at? What is a ute?"

Dayton is one program that could definitely use a makeover in terms of graphics, wordmarks, etc. A throwback look, like this, would suit them well, I think:
