Just a reminder that All Star game is starting soon on TNT with our own David Freakin West coming off the bench and dominating like always.

On a similar note, they interviewed Chris Paul a little bit ago an he has Skip's name written on the inside of his shoe. Just goes to show how great of a coach and man Skip was to leave such an impact on Chris Paul.

These have to be the worst introductions there have ever been in the history of any sport. I had to change the channel it was so damn annoying.

West and Paul's address to the crowd was a nice wrinkle. Very cool. David West is a stud.

Anyone else confused w/ these unis? The backs of the East, are very close in color to the fronts of the West.

Agreed. I'd love to see them shorten the game, enforce travelling, and have teams play real defense.

WHAT?!?! They just announced a trade that included a retired Kieth Van Horn. Since when can you trade retired players?

He is on Dallas' roster, and they are paying him. He just isnt playing. Not sure why he is still on their payroll, I remember hearing earlier on in the season, but I cant remember.

He never officially filed retirement papers.

Was it the Jason Kidd deal? I imagine the Nets will just buy out his contract so he can go back home.

I love how players retire in the NBA and continue to get paid. Brian Grant was paid somewhere in the $16 million range during his first year of retirement. Good work if you can get it.

Who cares, plus with the game being played in New Orleans some viewers might think he is talking about Xavier (La.) Regardless, it's great to see West in the game and contribute.

Yeah I mean Xavier of La is about 5 miles from the stadium, so I understand the clarification.
