exciting win for bellarmine. davenport has done a great job there.

still wish they would have gone div1. they talked about it seemingly forever, but never did it. now there is a moritorium, and when it is lifted it won't be as simple to move up as it was before.

i bet the ohio valley would live to have them. nku too.

I love the fact that this coaching staff does not want to play walkovers in the preseason. Last year Findlay, this year Bellarmine. Playing good competition early that does not count on your record sharpens your team for the real thing.

Good for the Knights. A national championship resides in my old Deer Park Louisville neighborhood. Sweet.

If there's a moratorium, someone forgot to tell Nebraska-Omaha. They're dropping football and wrestling so they can move up to D-I and join the Summit League next season.

Congrats to the Knights who are now the Kings of D2. Davenport turned a losing program into a national champion in 6 years. Very nice.

one of the guys that I played HS ball with is now an assistant on that team. They have a lot of respect for Xavier, really enjoyed their experience at Cintas this year...(maybe too much).

Funny how we have no problem congratulating Bellarmine on winning a national crown and yet people here are ready to jump out of a window when Butler and VCU make it to the Final 4.

I wonder, if Butler wins the title, can any other team out there say they played both national champs this year?

I HATE dayton.
