Don't think I can. Don't know what was more devastating - DD missing those bunnies or this year's utter collapse at home against Louis.

I'm very interested, I think Dee Dee can certainly put a different perspective on what sport is all about.
She was a class player for XU, is a class person now.

What pained me to watch was the games yesterday in Spokane. Those hurt. But certainly relevant to what Dee Dee has dealt with.
Looking forward to it

Great show! I think I might have shed a tear... It really does put things in perspective. I love this game of basketball and its good to remember that its just a game sometimes...

Wow. What a great story.

I was unaware of Dee Dee's background and have a great respect for her that she spoke about it. Nice, too that ESPN showed her making shots earlier in that game.

I wish her all the best and certainly hope she can continue her career.

Dee Dee Jernigan is all that is right with collegiate sport and Xavier University.
My mother too died young, breast cancer, never had the opportunity to see what I could become, my family or her grand daughter. I know the pain Dee Dee feels when she talked of her mother.
Dee Dee, your story is an inspiration, you showed your strength on the court, but that is completely overshadowed by the strength you show now.

Dee Dee still has WNBA aspirations - she has an incredible opportunity to inspire people out there to never give up and to get back on the horse, so to speak.

There are lots of great stories we've seen in recent years over Xavier being a 2nd family for these ladies - there is no reason to ever doubt that Dee Dee is always welcome on Xavier's campus and the Cintas Center. Her role coming off the bench was grossly underrated over the past couple of seasons.
