This is an interesting matchup. VCU's speed and FSU defense. The Rams looked awful tough against the Boilers. I expect VCU to continue their run.

Both these teams have dominated in their games. I love this game and I never saw it coming.

I want VCU because they are a small conference team that people said didn't deserve to be in the tournament. They had to play the play in game. They have won three games so far and have dominated the play. They toyed with Purdue. It was never close. It is impressive.

VCU is based in Richmond, and my dream is having Richmond beating Kansas and have an All-Richmond regional semi-final to determine which Richmond team goes to the Final Four. Imagine us against UC in the Elite Eight to see how that would run around here. It would be pandemonium.

Florida State also toyed with Notre Dame, who I astutely picked to the Finals. Notre Dame looked great in the big least, but they looked like children as FSU walked them around the playground.

These two teams are playing some great basketball. I am rooting for VCU, but this could be a fantastic game. I hope that Richmond beats KU to make it all the more fun.

Dana O'Neil wrote an interesting piece about the buzz being created in Richmond from this. I was actually in Richmond all week visiting my girlfriend to help her recover from surgery so I was able to see it for myself. You can pretty much tell they're not all that used to being excited about basketball this far into much, but new excitement like that is pretty cool to see. It would be a great matchup and although I'm sure the ratings would suck, I'd definitely watch it. Although there are some similarities to our rivalry with UC, it is nowhere near as heated. I'm sure that could have the potential to change over time, however, especially if they met in the Elite 8...

Just a greatly designed under the basket Out of Bounds play at crunch time and a superb job of preparing his team.

Oh, yeah. I'd love to see him stay at VCU, but that dude is going to make a lot of money- I just hope it's NOT in the Big Greased.

Leonard Hamilton blew that game. Should've taken a TO at the end of the 2nd half when the FSU player was clearly taking to long to start the play. And what was the FSU player doing passing up a 4 footer at the end, but I think they should have taken a TO as they passed half court anyway.
