So I have watched all of VCUs games so far and they have just dominated, now that my my muskys are gone I am pulling for them the rest of the way.


Also if Florida St can pull out the win against Notre Dame,
they would have a Southwest region of a 10,11, and 12 sead in the sweet sixteen. Damn this tournament is just crazy

Eff Kansas. God, I hate that team. I hope Richmond is their Northern Iowa of this year.

Also pulling for VCU by the way. They are a fun team to watch, and are actually in a similar situation as George Mason when they made the Final Four.

If Richmond beats Kansas either Richmond, Florida St or VCU makes the Final Four. I would take that.

I wish Illinois could have shot the ball tonight or run an offensive set. Kansas was beatable tonight before the late run. The Illini either couldn't get a good shot or couldn't make one when they got the chance. It was like pulling my own hair rooting for them when it was close. I was almost relieved when Kansas took over.

As an early VCU supporter and advocate I'm loving the run they are putting together. They have plenty of athleticism, quickness and skill to keep going but they are also capable of huge mental lapses. It was those mental lapses that allowed Tennessee to get the win early in the season and likely lead to the let down near the end.

They seem to be determined to prove a point so FL St and then hopefully Richmond better be prepared. They have the talent to beat anyone but I suspect they will go down before the championship.

Joey Rodriquez is a damn quick guard. IMO, Mark Lyons and Joey are equally quick, but Cheeks would be wise to take a page out of Joey's "unselfishness, assist" book. Let's hope Cheeks eventually matures to that level.
