Are he and Sim pretty much of the same mold? Seems like Tanveer is a bit more athletic and could play a little further from the basket but I'm basing this off the little footage I've seen of them, but it could be splitting hairs at this point. Anyone able to provide any more insight on them?

I've looked into them a bit and Sim is 7 foot 5 355 last i saw and Tanveer is about 7 foot 3 315.
Tanveer seems to be a bit more athletic and has a 15-17 foot jumper, and it is said that Sim has 3 point range.
So basically the two are very similar with just a few differences. Either way they'd both be conditioned probably in the same way once they reached college and would both be similar.
It's kind of hard to have guys that tall be too different from eachother...

They are both not very athletic, but then again if you can block and dunk without leaping........

I think they are looking at playing for the same program if possible.

I will look for the video clip but it was an interview where Sim was asked about why he and Tanveer do not attend the same school anymore (high school) and he said that it was best for them to go their ways and do their own thing (something to that effect)...I will look for it and post it on here. Maybe they would like to team up in college--nothing is definitive

Hey Hoopside-
I had read (and heard) that they would like to play ball together in the future, as college teammates. Have you heard anything about that?
I've also read that Tanveer can't dunk. Is this true?

Not true. He dunks in one of the video links above.
It is true that JimmyTwoTimes37 can't dunk though

Before he went to Kiski last year he couldn't dunk with a running start i read somewhere last night...but then he went through some conditioning and can dunk now

This a guess, but i would guess he might follow his brother Sim depending on how well he comes along and develops. It would make sense that he does not need to make a decision for a while. :)

How old and how tall is Stefan?

Stefan is roughly 6'9-6'10" , and is in the 2012 class with Sim. I had thought all along how cool it would be to pick up Stefan and Sim in the same class, and then have Tanveer come along later. But if Mack likes Farr, then I like Farr. Plain and simple.

With Sim out...does Tanveer become an option? Is he better/worse? Does the family learn from the qualify mistake they made with sim?

Exactly, I wonder if this kid is just like Sim and really 2012 not 13. His family needs to get this in order.

Tanveer is not a Xavier target.

Tanveer definitely is not athletic. On one video I saw, he couldn't pivot without moving both feet. This may/should change with maturity, but it still sends a message, and not a positive one.
About James Farr. Apparently Chris Mack sees potential in him, but "none" of the recruiting services have him rated very highly. ---Makes me wonder?

James Farr improved his stock in a recent tournament. Still may not get him into the top 150 but he impressed a lot of scouts.

Yeah, it was his first real opportunity for exposure too. He didn't play AAU before (I think only playing in a Chicago league) and this past summer he was on Indiana Elite, where it was hard to get the ball behind a number of guys familiar with each other. He should thrive as the primary player at MCI.

He already is thriving :)
