Congrats. They brought their A game. They brought intensity. They finished around the basket. They hustled on defense. Their continuous cutting offense confused Xavier. The better team in this game was Marquette and they deserved to advance.

You hit it all. My respect levels for Marquette and Buzz Williams sky rocketed after tonight. They do it right. It would be awesome if we could somehow start a series with them, especially if Buzz returns. I wish we broght the toughness that they did.

I agree with this. It's hard not to like Marquette. They play hard, their coach seems like a class act and they're a fellow Jesuit school.

I thought Buzz really had Marquette well prepared for us. Marquette matched up well with us, and Marquette has been getting opposing teams in foul trouble all year long. I knew once Lyons pick up his third fould it was going to be a long night offensively for us.

I was impressed how well Marquette did at guarding against our ball screens. That has caused a lot of opposing teams trouble this year, but Marquette handled it well. I would love to see a fellow Jesuit school make a deep run in the tourney.

They absolutely blew up the high ball screen. We got nothing out of that.

I wonder if Tu took ball #6 to Cleveburg? He didn't seem to like the feel of the bball much.
