I have been checking out the Marquette and Syracuse boards to find out what there fans feel about Xavier being a possible opponent in the tourney. I think Xavier can beat any team in the East Region but a comment from a Cuse fan said "I hope we get Xavier in the second round. They haven't beaten anyone and they truly suck".

That is awesome and typical. You would think after all of these years people would not be so uneducated about Xavier.

Sad but true. The good thing about it is that we can show up Syracuse in round 2 and prove them that X is no joke.

I grew up, and now live, in Rome, NY (45 min drive east of Cuse). Growing up, I was a HUGE Cuse fan (before I even knew Xavier existed). I'm still a pretty big fan of Syracuse hoops and football.... However they rank a FAR distant 2nd to Xavier for me these days. I have my Xavier flag proudly flying in front of my house right now, and am receiving many comments about the potential Sunday match up.

When we beat them on Sunday, my head will probably explode.
