I think I'm gonna go with:
-USC beating VCU then Gtown
-Wofford over BYU
-ODU over Butler (not really an upset)
Richmond over Vandy
Missouri over UC
Washington over UNC in the 3rd round
WVU over UK in 3rd
Zags over St Johns
Penn State over Temple
I think Texas, Wisconsin, Kansas State will have some scares but move on...
What do you guys have?

Same minus USC, WVU, and Penn St. winning.
I have Kansas St. losing though I think.

They definitely could...I don't know much about Utah State at all...

Fill me in on why USC is so fashionable.
Not sure about UK falling to WVU. Temple has to finally get a win. I like most of the rest of your picks.
Considering Missouri over UConn and Texas A&M over ND.

I like Xavier over Kansas in round 6....but I'm not sure if that's considered an upset at that point.

Good points about USC. Honestly, I don't know why I am picking them now that you mention it. I'm wavering. I think VCU will be extremely tough and if they can get by them, they can beat GTown(Counting on Chris Wright being rusty)
Maybe I should just pick Hampton, Boston U, Arkansas Little Rock, and Alabama State for the final four

Thought hard about Utah State over Kansas St
First time through I put all 1 seed in final four. Not sure I will keep that. I have never had that. I feel like this year is harder than most. I usually do pretty well, but I have no confidence in my bracket this year.

I have Utah State in the Elite 8. Perhaps I need to revise my pool before I turn it in.
I really don't know dick about them either. I want an all Mormon regional final.
A lot of people are picking Marquette as an upset special in the media. I look at Temple's Penn State as a 10 seed with envy.

Who was the pool champ last year in your pool Benwar? Who was the poolchamp on this website?
One and the same!
I am defending my title! Suck that. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. DUH! WINNING!
Charlie Sheen is making my picks this year as you can tell.

Im a sucker for Utah State, have them in the elite 8, but I actually have ODU beating Pitt...my southeast bracket is an absolute mess...I may miss them all, no joke, and im fine with that

Belmont Belmont and Belmont. This is perhaps the easiest upset to call in recent years. Of course, all Badger fans are ecstatic on my prediction which almost guarantees they'll move on to round 2. Did I mention I think Belmont gets the W over UW?

I only saw Utah St play once but I was not impressed. Belmont is a reasonable pick as is ODU over Pitt. Butler of course could spoil ODU's hopes as they have been here before. If Akron is hot they could dump ND but it is a long-shot. The USC/VCU game should be a decent indication of how good the PAC 10 and CAA are. I'll submit my brackets after seeing that game. The big 6 are looking good thus far in the NCAA and NIT and C-USA is looking bad. Given the RPI of C-USA it doesn't bode well for the CAA or A-10 but I think UTEP was missing a key player.

I never pick a KO coached team to be a successful tournament team. There's also a ton of distractions going on right now at USC. KO will be fired when their season is over. He was gonna be fired already, but they made it to the play in game. Lots of outside factors going on there and he's very volatile. He couldn't win a tournament game with Chase Budinger, Jerryd Bayless, Nic Wise, Jawaan McClellan, and Jordan Hill as his starters. He also didn't get 20 wins that year with that team either. That's 4 pro's (one overseas Wise) 2 of which were lottery picks (Bayless and Hill) , and 3 were Burger Boys (Jawaan, Bayless, and Budinger). Smart money is always against KO at this time of the year. ;)

Christ, it's as if the Big East is the only fucking (sorry mods i'm just very angry) conference in the country.
Ezekowitz said Xavier looks vulnerable primarily because it played a weak schedule. Marquette, meanwhile, forces turnovers, holds onto the ball and survived the brutal Big East.
How'd surviving the brutal Big East work for Pitt last year?

That makes me want to vomit.
John Ezekowitz, a sophomore and HCSAC co-president, completed a model that empirically shows the likelihood of upsets in Thursday's and Friday's games. He found that 11th-seeded Marquette is the low seed with the best chance of advancing to the weekend, giving it a 74.22% chance of knocking off 6th-seeded Xavier.
I really have a love-hate relationship with this time of year. I am in full bi-polar manic mode.
I have been elated with our draw and I am also scared of it at the same time. We lose this game people will pile on and say we suck and our conference sucks and we were overrated. It doesn't matter if you make three Sweet 16s in a row, you are only as good as your last game. Everything comes down to March. Our whole season will be judged by what happens in the next few days. So much is at stake. It is too much.
I love basketball season in November, December, January and February. Come March though I just can't stand the pressure. I think that March is my least favorite month. I could give Gladdenguy a run for his money. They need to lock us up in a padded cell. I just can't take it anymore!
Everyone seems to be picking Marquette. It is driving me crazy. I hate being everyone's favorite upset. If we lose our critics will claim that everyone knew we were overrated. I can't stand it.
Yet they say you need great guards for a deep March run. We have that in Lyons and Holloway. We have great inside play. We have experience in the Dance.
What gets me is that nobody will be surprised if we make it back to the Sweet 16. All these bastards are talking about us as an upset special would be tut tuting a fourth straight Sweet 16 like it was predestined since the beginning of time come Sunday Night.

Gonzaga in the sweet 16
Wisconsin in the elite 8- only reason that's an upset, is because everyone has them losing early.

With that thank you alone, you just sealed VCU's upset of Georgetown. ;)

Haha they looked good. I need to go with the opposite of my initial instincts. Like the George Costanza approach.
That means Hampton, Texas San Antonio, Boston U, and UNC Asheville in the final four!

I wouldn't pick them to go to the final four, but elite 8 is possible because they got a good draw. I highly doubt they will be able to beat Duke with or without Irving and Duke will have Irving by then.

Off their home court, they are a vulnerable squad. They don't have as much talent on their squad as Pitino squads usually do. I wouldn't be shocked if Morehead State won, I don't think it will happen though.

I need a little help here.
I'm a grad student at U of L but I called them losing to Morehead State, though by 5 or 7. I feel dirty, but so happy that I was right about the Big East being overrated, I mea Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith said it on TNT.
Should I feel dirty? Or happy that I was right and the A-10 is also 2-0?

It already happened when I had posted that I think. Lmao. Thankfully, I picked Richmond to go to the Sweet 16 anyway. I was pissed when Butler won the game on that put back. Had ODU losing second round. No real damage to my bracket yet.
