Okay, here is what I came up with -

Our first round opponent - South Dakota State Jackrabbits -
Forum scores points for already having two threads about the game.
http://www.sdsufans.com/board/forumdisplay.php?f=51

Also, from what I've ready it sounds like a great group of fans there. And it's an independent board, no Rivals or Scout affiliation.

Assuming we win the 2/15 game - potential opponents are Louisville or Vanderbilt

Vandy Rivals - http://vanderbilt.rivals.com/forum.asp Don't rush out, no new posts to the womens ball forum since Feb 6.

Vandy Scout - http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=189&f=2201 - More active, nice setup with the brackets. Claiming the whole former coach angle was played out last year. Says they lost a heartbreaker last year to us, could be their year. Also, worried about Lousivlle's close proxiity to Cintas Center making their Louisville game a virtual road game.

Lousiville Rivals - http://louisville.rivals.com/forum.asp?sid=923&fid=2377&style=2 - Men's and womens all in one forum

Lousivile Scout - http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=17&f=3733

Okay, so Louisville is a frequent visitor to Cintas Center anyway, so we know about them, we played Vandy last year in the NCAA at Cintas Center (isn't having home court grand, we should host any year they will let us!)

I'm thinking we may not be too familiar with South Dakota State - here is their official athletic site

Hopefully your server speed is better than mine - it was more like Tortoise than Hare for me. Maybe its all our fellow Muskie fans wanting to find out more about them.

The South Dakota St U Jackrabbits WBB are the definition of a successful transition from Div II to Division I in basketball.

The last two years of Div II, the Jacks won the national title (2003) (vs. Northern KY) and made the Elite 8 (knocked out by the new champ).

In the 2004 season began the transition to D I. SDSU (not San Diego St dear ESPN) has played some of the toughest schedules possible, and been successful.

SDST was the first transitional school to play in the WNIT, reaching the final 8 in 2007.
SDST was the first school to be in the NCAA's in their first 3 years of eligibility (2009, 2010 and now 2011).

We Jackrabbits look forward to another well played game against a team similar in desire for greatness, and invite Musketeer fans to discuss the game at the SDSUfans.com/board site.

Thanks for coming over - I've registered on your site, and followed the email verification stage, now waiting for a moderator to approve my positng privileges.

BUT - If you want to take a message back that might help your own fans. I saw the postings about airfares up near $900-$1,000 for Cincinnati airport.

You may want to try to do the same thing us locals do, that is to avoid Cincinnati airport. Look up some fares into Dayton (60 minutes away), Lousiville (yes, that Louisville) or Indianapolis (about 90 minutes away), or Columbus (about 2 hours away). Generally there are some better deals there. I mean, your planning on renting a car anyway, right?

Sounds like you have a solid program, NCAA in all 3 years you were elibible for it. Great start. If you want to visit former nemesis Northern Kentucky University - it's only about a 15 minute side trip from Cintas Center.

Not just made the tournament in 2009, you guys won 30 games that year and a 1st-rounder against TCU to boot.

Hopefully your fanbase travels well for Sunday.
