Manic March Revisited
by WKRQ
It's getting so that March Madness has an entirely new meaning. And as the Muskies fans slowly turn on the agonizing spit of uncertainty, April Anxiety rears its ugly head.
Instead of focusing on the A10 and post-season tournaments this month, those nagging questions that tiptoe from the back of our minds to the forefront, get sharper in focus.
I've got this irritating feeling engendered by a little voice that keeps saying, “What'll it be this year?” I'm like that little dog in the Travelers commercial, that keeps worrying about his bone.
It's a disease that started back in 1987 with Pete Gillen and continued almost every year from Skip Prosser (God rest) through to today. And as Emily Latilla used to say, “It's always something. If it's not one thing it's another” (more here (http://www.xavierhoops.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18250)).
