I think it goes without saying that players cannot sell these gifts? Guessing Thad got that message across to the OSU players....

My sport once got a $5 gift card for iTunes as our A-10 gift. Of course, we had to do a phone survey first. That was the worst.

It's not surprising that some of the lower conferences have crappy gifts, but Pac- 10, are you serious? A backpack filled with snacks and a bottle of Dr.Pepper. Thats sounds more like a trip to the cafeteria than a Big 6 conference tournament.

I love how it mentions they get Dr. Pepper because Dr. Pepper is a corporate sponsor.

Anyone else suprised with the A10's gift package. Damn, now Charlotte, LaSuck, Fordham, and St. Joe's were all fighting for something(s) at the end of the year. Good for them for actually winning something.

During my playing days at XU in a non-revenue sport, we received an MCC fanny pack one year. How sucktastic was that!?!

We once received an A10 sweater vest for cross country AND track...because we apparently needed more than 1.
