There must be thousands of XU alums within a few hours drive on Lowell Mass.

At the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell the Xavier women will battle tomorrow, Monday, at 5pm for the A-10 tournament crown.

Led by All American candidates, twin towers Amber Harris and Ta'Shia Phillps, X just wrapped up its 3rd straight A-10 regular season title with a 14-0 conference record, they are 6th in both polls with a 25-2 record, losses only to top 10 teams, Stanford and Duke.
Phillips is the #2 rebounder in the country, and holds the career record for rebounds in the A-10. She is currently 3rd in the nation in FG %.
Harris is 5th in the nation career scoring among active players

Whatever your opinion on the game, it's Xavier folks, come support your team. I'll be there! Watch for the idiot with the Blue and White X flag in the stands!

The city in general I'm not a fan of as a location. But for the arena specifically, the pictures on the girl's facebooks look pretty good.

The coaches from The A10 vote on the location, the last time it was in Cincinati,XU rolled through, 2 years in a row a year that we were not supposed to win..... It will be a while before it comes back to Cinci....Temple has dominated the tournament for too long for the tourney to go back to Philly, I think UMass was a convenient way to avoid "home field" advantage

That tournament was no gimme for Xavier that year; they struggled with Saint Louis in the quarters before beating Temple and Saint Joe's to clinch the auto bid. Lose any of those games and the team would have had a WNIT bid that season.

Xavier has won 3 of the last 4 A-10 Tournament titles, but they're being tested today for sure.
