Just dropped "chicken shit" on the live taping of College Gameday on ESPN. And the public apology will be issued in 3,2,1...

Yup. Just got back from commercial and Reese Davis apologized for Knight's "salty" language. That angry geriatric bastard couldn't even issue the apology for himself.

I love Bob Knight! He may be an angry, old man, but he never comes off as fake. You know where he stands and he doesn't care if you agree or not. And, as far as on-air folks go, he definitely knows the game better than any of them. Idiots like Digger Phelps, not so much.

The phrase "chicken shit" is very funny in and of itself. Bob Knight saying "chicken shit?" That's gold.

I literally jumped off my couch laughing. I want to hate Knight, I just can't. Im not a fan of his in game work, but studio stuff is just hilarious.

When I played little league, my coach intentionally walked the best hitter in the league in a crucial game, crucial situation. A dad from the other team, yelled and yelled (I later found out he was drunk, as was his custom), "I can't believe you walked him, you shit-chicken." Over and over...."shitchicken" To this day, my dad and I laugh about that. Can't hear "chickenshit, without chuckling over this.

Not that big of a deal. ESPN isn't subject to the same FCC rules as over the air networks, I don't think.

I think Knight might be losing it a little bit. Last week he picked Duke to win the Syracuse-Georgetown game.
