Wow. Missouri St just closed the game on an 11-0 run including the winning shot with 1 second left to beat SIU 58-56.

Missouri St is the #1 seed and was almost gone in the 1st game of the day.

Maybe the SIU coach is an idiot.

Go Shockers!

Didn't take long to get sucked in, huh?

I really would like to go to Arch Madness one year. The A-10 is a better league than the MVC, but the MVC puts one a thousand-times better Tournament. Probably because they have a central location and actual fans for more than one or two schools.

Really like that freshman PG for ISU, Jake Odum. He's gonna be a good one in the Valley the next three years.

Nothing says respect for the Valley like CBS cutting away from the game right after the clock hits 0.0; mind you Ohio State and Wisconsin were in a commercial at that point.

Good enough for me. Once the game's over, there's not much to see (if you're not an ISU fan).

It's especially bad because at the end of the UK-UT game, CBS cut to a commercial before joining the MVC game 5 minutes in.

Big Congratulations to the Sycamores. If you'd like to congratulate the Sycamores personally hop over to Sycamore Pride (http://www.sycamorepride.com/showthread.php?t=9028)(run by Svoboda).

They did the same thing for Ohio State.

The MVC final was coming out of a TV timeout when they cut to it.

I wouldn't mind seeing Missouri State getting in, but I really don't think they will.

Exactly what the A-10 will deal with next Saturday.

I'm really not sure what it is CBS did that anyone can complain about. They cut away from the UK/Tennessee game as soon as it was over. We missed the first four and a half minutes of the MVC game, but that happens. Then they stuck with the MVC game to the end and immediately cut away when it was over. But OSU/Wisconsin fans missed the first 8+ minutes of their game. Other than space out start times a little better, what did you expect CBS to do?

It would have been better to have the OSU-Wisconsin game at 2:00 and put the Valley title game at the end of the tripleheader. Give them SOME time to enjoy their win on camera, that's all I'm saying.

The MoVal does a heck of a job. I was in ST Louis this weekend for our game, but everywhere I turned was a fan of Ind State, Ill state, Month state, etc. Every school had fans there. It was a great atmosphere. My brother and I stayed at the Hyatt on the river and it was the Creighton hotel. Their fans were polite and friendly. I ran into some Ind State fans, that was a treat since my BS is from ISU, went to high school with a Sycamore legend, and had the current head coache's mother in law as a teacher.

I am proud of the winning done by my Sycamores and Muskies in STL this weekend. Its time to dance baby!

after looking at it again i think you're right.

generally outright first place finishers with decent rpis get in (ie utah state and utep from last year), but missouri state only has three top 100 rpi wins. they have an additional win at northern iowa when northern iowa was at full strength so they may get some credit for that, but that's still not a whole lot of juice. they may be left out.
