Just underway from Chattanooga TN. Top 4 seeds get a 1st round bye. Wofford is 2S, and plays winner of Appalachian St/Georgia Southern tomorrow.

Wofford moves onto the semis against Western Carolina.

Wofford has this kid named Dahlman drawing fouls on Western Carolina. Name sounds familiar.

Noah Dahlman - I haven't forgotten. If Wofford can advance to play College of Charleston, that would be a great matchup.

college of charleston is a potentially dangerous first round opponent if they can wrap up the automatic bid. wofford is good too, but i believe they fell to cofc twice during the season.

not a good first half for cofc against furman. cofc has a wide range when it comes to how well they play. they can be the suckiest of suck, or they can play well enough to seemingly beat a top 25 team. tonight, they're more of the former.

They gave the South their own conference?

Damn secessionist rebels!

Bobby Cremins was senile 7 years ago when he was broadcasting games. I can't imagine what he's like as a coach now. He must have some good assistants at CofC.

He's no John Kresse, that's for sure.

Wofford's gonna win that thang.

i think cofc beats them for a third time...or maybe not. it depends if they play the way the did in the first half or the second half of their semifinal game tonight.

cofc is the better team, or at the very least is the better team when both are at the top of their game, which is a place that cofc isn't always at.

Announcers last night were saying that Charleston doesn't have much depth and that could be an issue with 3 games in row. They have a kid named Gouth-something or other, that can really score.. Not sure Wofford has anyone athletic enough to slow him down on the defensive end.

i don't see depth being a huge issue. wofford isn't that deep either.

Charleston leads Wofford 32-28 at the half. Charleston is more athletic/talented. Ultra-scorer Goudelock picked up his 3rd fould right before halftime, but the other guard for Charleston was actually the guy who lit it up in the 1st half.

i'd forgotten that one of charleston's best players was hurt. i think waggy was right regarding the depth. it may turn out to be a problem after all.

Game has heated up big time. Goudelock on fire. Wofford down 2.

This game is outstanding. Back and forth. So much intensity. C'mon Wofford!

Slick play by Dahlman gives Wofford 5 point lead with about 4 to play.

ESPN needs to start staggering the start times for the championship games. I don't know which game to watch, SoCon or WCC. Both shaping up to be great finishes.

Wofford in the Tourney! And they are HAPPY! Love this stuff.

On the way to a SoCon championship win against the College of Charleston, Wofford went 22/24 from the free throw line. That's clutch

i believe wofford has all five starters back from last year's team that nearly beat wisconsin in the ncaa tournament. i was really expecting them to have a better overall year, and even compete for an at-large bid (one of the many preseason predictions i made that didn't come to fruition).

they're dancing again, though. they aren't likely to get a good seed, which means they'll probably be way overmatched, but they have the capability of playing really well.

Great night for XU opponents...RPI up one spot.

Gonzaga, Wofford, and ODU advance

Butler can make it 4 tomorrow
