I think this game has a lot of significance. If anyone has been following Charlie creme's stories on espn you would know that Xavier was initially sent out west for the reginals cause A&M and Duke were ahead of us on the S curve therefore sending A&M to Dayton cause that was the closest location for them(they can't go to Dallas cause that's where Baylor would be and they're in the same conference... Then he moved Xavier to Dallas and Miami FL up to the last 2 seed putting them out west... Since A@M lost tonight that should push Xavier ahead of them and therefore Duke would still go to Philly and then Xavier would be 6th of the S curve sending them to Dayton.... Cincy to Dayton to Indy! Not sure if I explained it well enough but I think we now have a shot at that path as long as we win the A10 tourney!

The only hiccup would be if A@M somehow beats Baylor in the Big 12 tourney... Then they would prolly jump over us even if we win out!

What yall think????

Isn't Baylor going to be playing in the NIT? They blow.

That's great news of K-State taking down A&M. If Xavier wins the A-10 their chances of playing at Dayton get exponentially better. A&M already has a pair of losses to Baylor along with the K-State loss, so they would have to win the Big 12 Tournament (and they are the defending tournament champs) to leapfrog Xavier on the S-Curve.

Duke could also be ahead of Xavier in the S-Curve, but they'll likely be headed to the Philly region. That also keeps Xavier away from UConn before the Final 4.

UCLA is another team to watch - they were a Top 10 team for part of the year until Stanford swept them. I don't think they'll knock off the Cardinal, nor would a win on their part likely help them leapfrog X in the S-Curve.

Notre Dame, DePaul and Miami-FL are other possible 2/3 seeds.
